SANJURO 椿三十郎,

Sanjuro is a 1962 black and white samurai film by Akira Kurosawa, Starring as the wandering Ronin was Toshiro Mifune, Japan's legendary actor, (Mifune stars in a lot of Kurosawa's film), it is a great film with wits and humor, based on Shugoro Yumamato's short story "Peaceful Days" the story begins with nine young samurai, who are worried about corruption in the leadership of their clan. Although they know of two elders who are "bad," the youths misjudge who the real mastermind behind these two is, and ask that wrong one for help. As the nine meet secretly at a temple and discuss their problem, a ronin (Mifune) emerges from another room where he had been quietly resting. The ronin had overheard their plans and explains the stupidity and naiveté of their conclusions and decides to help them. I was lucky to see this film because im fond of Japanese Samurai films and of course Toshiro Mifune, (The first Mifune film i saw was Seven Samurai, also by Akira Kurosawa), thank you to UP Film Institute Diliman and Japan Information and Culture Center for the said Film Fest, Honto ni suki desu! Banzai Japan!

I will definitely, definitely miss you.

JUST DO IT? IN PURPLE AND GOLD

Yep, I got my swoosh, in purple and gold, perfect for the athlete with dedication and work ethics just like KB, but i ain't KB nor anything near an athlete with such amazing talents and ethics, but who says i can't wear 'em? anyways, it is also perfect for a gaijin wandering around, taking photos and conveying thoughts and stories with his photos, well? Just do it.

STRAT POWER

Well, been fiddling with my guitar ( guitar 101, clean your guitar on a regular basis ), but instead, i got bored and grab my cam and started to shoot, and shoot and shoot, voila! here's one of them decent shot, on a boring sunday afternoon in the life of a gaijin who wasn't able to wander around.
